The salesgirl is responsible for planning and carrying out all sales activities in the boutique. She is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
Tasks involve:
developing and maintaining a customer database;
preparing sales action plans and schedules;
developing and maintaining sales and promotional materials;
planning and conducting direct marketing activities;
making sales calls to new and existing clients;
developing and making presentations of products and services to current and potential clients;
maintaining sales activity records and reports;
responding to sales inquiries and concerns by phone or in person;
ensuring customer service satisfaction and good client relationships;
following up on sales activity;
monitoring and reporting on sales activities and following up for management;
participating in sales events;
monitoring competitors, market conditions and product development.
Education and Experience
knowledge of relevant computer applications
knowledge of principles and practices of sales
knowledge of customer service principles
knowledge of basic business principles
experience in sales
